The service, price, location, and view from Johns place are great and most trips i end up going but sorry to be negative I think the food is rubbish.

Maybe I'm to fussy when It comes to food.

Do you ever go to Ratana's Kitchen just around the corner from your GH on Thaepai Road?
    Always good value for money...

Dave's had the chain for sale a while now. River Market already sold I believe. Whether or not Hospitality Co. had larger investments in the Dukes Group is unknown, as is the Q as to whether fraud-recovery mob put the pressure on to sell or tell.

NB: Need VPN to access Drummond's sketchy article from within Th.
    Cheers, Rob.

enormous amount of money needed to buy the land and build the river market?

it was always obvious that any profits from the dukes chain, although popular, wouldn't have been enough to fund it.
