Ad banners - Summer Breeze and Ashford Tax

Both are BM (Member) ads and deserve your business. A majority already know SBH and Billpay.

Ashford Tax is Changone, and I can vouch for his services. Nick Ashford saved me a lot of money by sorting ATO (Au tax office) returns just recently.... all done by email.

Please support those who support Thai Dreaming!

Bill's Summer Breeze is superbly located in Soi Sansabai
for all the action whether you are bar hopping or have the missus along for a bit of shopping at Jung Ceylon.

The meals are a well kept secret, both the Thai and euro type meals are great and inexpensive.

We have an apartment in Patong and, when there, go down about once a week for a meal as it is so much better than many restaurants.

Always some one to talk to if you want info.

Was about to say I couldn't find you ad. Need a promotion to the top around tax time!

    How closely scrutinised would the travel factor be;

    Claiming Travel

You generally cannot claim for travelling to and from work however you may be able to claim for work-related travel undertaken during the day between two places of work where you derive income. The deduction may also be available where you have to carry bulky tools or equipment with you

    Claim Your K’s

You may be able to claim work-related travel on a “Cents per kilometre” basis without keeping a logbook provided the travel does not exceed 5,000 kilometres and reasonable travel estimates are kept.

If you travel more than 5,000 kilometres you may able claim a deduction for one third of actual car expenses, or 12% of the cost of the vehicle or your travel costs under the logbook method to the extent you use the car for work-related travel.

With adblock I can't see Ashford Tax.
My only experience was in a pie making factory managing the gravy team

    Absolutely correct

    Claim Your K’s

You may be able to claim work-related travel on a “Cents per kilometre” basis without keeping a logbook provided the travel does not exceed 5,000 kilometres and reasonable travel estimates are kept.

Once again, correct. 12% claim means no receipts except for cost of car.
Sometimes the optional 5,000 claim gives a better result too.

    Thanks Q....

C1 may have to set up shop at Summer Breeze for greater visibility. That would give all Ozzie BM's a valid reason to visit ... win win!
    Cheers, Rob.
