Not just in Thai - Expat Murder in Bali

Heard this on the News tonight, found in a rice paddy, hands and feet tied, throat cut. Sounds as though maybe pissed off the wrong people.

This comment in the article could ring true in many Countries

""Who knows what happens. If you piss the wrong person off in Bali, or if you do the wrong thing, weird things happen. This is a very weird island, things happen for very stupid reasons or no reason at all," the friend said."

Didn't take long to get that out.

Defies belief that someone would go to that extreme, yet not plan or set it up, so that they don't get caught within 24 hours of the body been found. Is it really worth the effort to commit that ultimate sacrafice, if all it means is that you will spend a longtime behind bars yourself. Seems a pointless excercise really

Bali can be a savage place. I've had some close calls there before.

This wouldn't be the work of local Balinese. When I hear these stories, my money is always on the Javanese cnuts that flock there to prey on tourists.
Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

Could be Bacon, but sounds as though this was methodical, not random judging by this article, already one arrested
