    Thai anger towards Chinese

Now that is one pissed off Thai lady!

thais aren't bad at pushing in.
had to let some know they're out of order plenty of times here.

but that vid is way over the top...they just seem ruder, more selfish and small minded than even thais.

Absolute herd mentality. I hate out of control tour groups anywhere.
Why I'm always willing to pay a little more to avoid this kind of crap.
And where the hell was Biggles.....?....when you needed him last Saturday....?

Seen this a lot in Singapore and I was told it's related to an inherit upbringing of being Kiasu ("fear of losing out" kinda thing), mainly in the older generation but still occurs a lot.

Also I wouldn't put it past bad timekeeping as well if it is at an airport - they probably didn't allocate time for getting their refunds so are rushed for time and want to cut in to prevent them missing their plane.

^^ That probably has a lot to do with it, but I've also noticed a pretty disturbing lack of awareness of people around them as well. Another explaintion I've read is the effects of the one child policy creating a whole generation of spoilt, selfish brats with no manners or regards for other people.

It's probably a combination of a number of factors though. But yeah, it's just baffling how people can behave like that, and the problem is only going to get worse as the number of middle class in China increases and they start to travel more. We're all doomed!

My Guess is that this is the chinese new year holiday (by the dress) period when things get really mental. Little like songkran roads when everyone wants to get back home. It is crazy and best avoid to travel in that time.

I had a brief moment in South Korea, after spending five hours on a plane with a group of Chinese. They where impossibly rude, disrespectful, and flat out uncontrollable.

I stomached it on the flight, (I was hungover) but come custom time, I was done and done.

Just like in the video , they swarmed and pushed me and my brother out of the way. Um, no...

"Move or be moved!"... I'm pretty sure they didn't understand what I said, but I'm a pretty big guy and I was at my wits end. I bellowed it again. I was truly done with them...

    They seemed like an organism...

I don't like normal crowds as it is. I get claustrophobic. Give me wide open spaces and Australia's 2.8 people per sqkm any day.

My building had the Taiwanese embassy in it.
Every single day the elevator door would open and they'd barge in.
I just finally start physically pushing them back out....it became a game

I knew it was coming so i was ready for them 555

    Thankfully they moved

The other day I was watching a clip of an ice cream vendor in Itally, serving customers in order of loudest to quietest. Pretty funny.

My parents house happens to be near a shop that Korean Bus Tours stop at a couple of times a day. The Koreans often come through our gate and into the garden, start taking photos... picking flowers... prodding plants... even had them trying to come into the house to look around. Not only older Koreans, but young twenty somethings as well. I didn't mind the hot girls coming in though... 555. But its just strange that for some reason they think our house is like a public rest area or something... even though they had to open a gate to come in....

They also wander down the road and start walking around the local primary school... the kids there sort of stop and stare at them... there seems to be no tour guide or anyone to round them up either... but usually after ten to fifteen minutes they all just get back on the bus and leave...

i think also the sheer numbers in some of the larger cities in China means the push and shove would just be a normal everyday thing for them .... if you didnt learn to push and shove you would just get left behind in the throngs of 10 million people, and would never get anywhere, always missing that train or bus

travelling is a stressful time for most but Asians and Chinese especially don't seem to be able to cope well out of their comfort zone.

I was queuing up to board a flight in Chiang Mai. There were two queues to board and in front of me a Russian guy was talking loudly to a Russian girl in the other queue. After a while it became obvious that they were waiting to see which queue was going to be the fastest. That queue turned out to be mine and she walked across to join her friend in front of me in the queue. Before I had the chance to say anything a Russian couple behind me launched into them with words I couldn't understand but whose sentiments I knew only too well.

Next thing, they all looked at me with a .....Are you happy to let them push in face.... to which I shook my head and pointed towards the back. A little ripple of applause broke out as they meandered to the back of the queue....People power....yea
