Fire Alarms - A good piece of info

Having just installed a few fire alarms in my factory, i read this article ...

Really good info and something i didn't know, if you have fire alarms then read this !!

The NSW Fire Commissioner has said Australia's most common smoke alarm should be banned.

Put simply, photoelectric sees the smoke and ionisation smells it.

But it might not smell the smoke until it is too late.

Most Australian homes - up to 90 per cent - have ionisation alarms.

Qld Photoelectric is a must in every new dwelling. Laws are being drawn up to a must have at the sale of a property. My grandmother died in a house fire. Drunk, cigarette and fell asleep.
