Buying building products in China or holiday in USA ???

I have brought building products in Foshan China before but I haven't been for about 4 years.

Has anyone had experience buying building products out of SEA. Do I have better options besides China.

I'm looking for high end product,

    Window frames and glass
    Steel lintels
    Steel stud wall framing
    Steel roof trusses
    Insulation bats
    Stone cladding
    Tiles
    Bathroom products
    Kitchens and bathrooms
    LED lights
    Furniture
    Gyprock

^ Are you talking high volume purchases, ie x 500 toilet suites at a time? China produces nearly all bathroom items, incl vanities, sold here and in NZ/Aus.

Not sure where the ready-made Aluminium window frames/glass product here (Global House) is sourced but it's an Aussie company so I assumed at least the extrusions came in from Aus.

Tiles ... China and Thailand eg: THE ARTIFACT PORCELAIN TILE

Hardware items: https://www.hafele.com - quality Thailand made product. I bought small items @ 45bt each which retail in Bunnings @ $7.68 under a house brand name.

Furniture ex Vietnam or Indonesia is very high quality, especially Vn wood products. I have a contact in Hanoi.

Thanks Rob, Hi end I meant top quality not volume. I'm building some beach front apartments in Perth.

I have brought all this stuff excluding the windows for a few projects before out of China and have contacts. Just with the dollar its getting a bit expensive compared to before. Thought I would look other places.

I have been told the furniture in VN is worth a go. Would be good to catch up with your Hanoi contact when I'm in Hanoi in April.

Our plans have changed a bit was going BKK with the parents first but mum got sick.

BBK 2nd to 7th April, but just decided about 10 minutes ago we will go to Cambo now the parents wont be with us.
    Cebu 7th to 18th
Honoi and around VN 19th to 30th.

Whistler 8th July for a week or two may be a better time to share your drinking experience.

I'd take the Amtrak from Vancouver to Portland(about 8 hours)
Then hang in Portland for a night or two......an awesome city with amazing Thai food actually
Then you can rent a car one way to LA......a great drive

You can also fly one way for about 300cad

But if you have time and want to see a bit I'd do my 2st option
You really can't be in too much of a better region than the Pacific Northwest at that time of the year.....simply amazing.
You seem to be open for time so I'd cut a few days off Whsitler and do that trip to LA

PS.....you can also do Amtrak Vancouver to Seattle and although I love Seattle I just think as a tourist you'd appreciate the uniqueness of Portland more.....its really unlike any other city I've been

    Yeah
    Sorry
PM me and I can give you some ideas.
I can't stress enough how great of a 3-5 days trip if you do the train and drive would be.
The train is as relaxing as can be and pretty scenic in spots.
    Portland is a ball
And the drive starting from the Oregon Coast all the way down to LA is simply amazing in spots.

I have been a few times before, last trip did 3 20ft containers and a 40. For one house.

But that was a few years back

Got two high end apartments this time lots of tiles, two kitchens, 5 bathrooms, furniture, led lights etc.
    its a reasonable amount
