“There’d be huge amounts of infant powder, 900-gram cans, that were being bought off the supermarket shelves here and put in mailbags and sent to China via students,” said John Droppert, a senior analyst at Dairy Australia, an industry group. “Pallet loads were just disappearing because people were putting it in the post and sending it to China.”

Every trip I have done to China excluding the last I have taken a suit case full of baby formula for my agent Amy. Even before she had kids.

I got a mate here that exports Australian wine to China, seams to be doing very well.

There's a big disparity between the amounts of product we have available and the size of the chinese market.
Chinese agents are going all over the world buying up all the scrap metal they can find.
Seems to me it could be very hard to crack the chinese market as a product supplier unless you have a chinese agent on both geographic ends of the deal.

Not just infant formula . I buy Skim milk powder from the Supermarkets here and some of the shops have signs in Chinese telling them there is a limit on how many they can buy at a time. Often when I want to buy milk it will be sold out ....fucking Chinese pigs.

^ Why is that? Not as much cattle farming over there leading to milk shortage?

Nope. Some greedy pricks were packing out baby milk formula with plastic chemicals, so no fkr trusts the local milk factories anymore.
