What do most of you use when posting on this forum?

I do almost all my posting using a computer, of which I have about 4 that I use at any given time: two laptops and two main frame units. The main advantage is I can type on a proper keyboard in a normal fashion, and I can go from forum to forum if I need reference data. I have my photos and technical information stored on them.

I sometimes use my Samsung Galaxy pad that I bought to use with my drone, but I found it has other uses similar to a computer, but it's not quite as effective. I also use the pad when visiting friends and I don't want to carry a laptop. It is handy when showing them pictures or videos of our trips together. I also have a couple of cell phones, but seldom use them on forums. I use my cell phone far more often when I travel but only to check messages, or to send quick, short messages.

I can usually tell when people are using a cell phone because their spelling is often incorrect... or weird because of auto-correct.

Use Tapatalk when on your phone or pad. Much easier.

What do most of you use when posting on this forum?

The English language, my brain, some decency, common and not-so-common sense, and of course my failed attempts at humor.. 555

You guys that use a smartphone or small tablet don't you find the small screens annoying? Can hardly see anything.... I get frustrated on my smaller 11inch travel laptop because it's so small... let alone on my phone.

And typing on a phone is damn near impossible unless you have small fingers... how do you guys tolerate that?

I use my laptop for everything...posting in here and other social media, design work, email, spreadsheets, downloading music (played back via book case speakers or headphones), downloading movies/TV series (which I play back through the TV, photographs, reading books/newspapers etc etc...

I don't own a smartphone anymore...they depress me when I see how people misuse them...if I am out of the house I can only be be contacted via dumb phone/sms....I don't feel the need to be "conected" 24/7

Honestly I am still struggling with the meaning of a single emoji, let alone all the combo's they come up with...

Though I have learned the 69 followed by a simple smiley is a good combo.. If followed by a thumbs up.. They are Buddhists, so is that the combo for Nirvana? 55

I only started using smartphones for work here recently. always had a tiny dumb phone in my pocket over there. if out and about i didn't want to know about anything internet related too.
must say the smartphone is very handy for what i do here though. an essential tool in my job.

Kids in the future are going to look at the call symbol on their mobiles and wonder what that funny looking thing is.

Sweet set up, Sydney. My professional photographer friend has something similar.

Kids in the future are going to look at the call symbol on their mobiles and wonder what that funny looking thing is.
I still have a rotary phone in my home and it comes in handy when the power and local internet goes out.
