I love this tribute in Canada for Hockey crash

All around Canada people are leaving hockey sticks outside their doors just in case "the boys might need them"

Just an awesome tribute for the hockey players who died and are injured in the horrific bus crash in Saskatchewan Canada

PS....I saw some hockey sticks left out in Australia too!

Brillant how these things take off and the go fund me is staggering at 5.4
    Million..

But horrific accident, do they know what happened yet ? Travelling in a bus in a western country you kinda assume there shouldn’t be a problem

    It's over 8million now

It is a pretty remote area they were in
Seems the truck driver blew through his stop sign and t-boned the bus

    Actually it's a miracle hasn't happened before
Some of these Jr hockey teams are in the far reaches of Canada and are driving all over in extreme winter conditions

Hits home....my nephew is on a bus with his Jr hockey team every few days
But nowhere near in the snowy/icy conditions in some of these areas in Canada

Just shows the difference between Thailand and Canada. Thailand seems to have one of those type crashes every month or so.

RIP those kids gone and hope for a quick recovery to those injured.

I saw photo's of the crash site and it looked horrific.

Lovely sentiment with the hockey sticks, I don't have one but if I did it would be outside as well.

When I first heard of the accident the night it happened I assumed it was an icy road and the truck lost control.... But I was wrong. The road was dry and in flat terrain, and there was a stop sign at the intersection the truck was driving on. The trucker clearly blew through the stop sign at high speed. Even if it was bad brakes he would have known that long before reaching the intersection. Unfortunately he lived. It was totally his fault and he is going to have to live with his actions for the remainder of his life.
