Not Quite a Newby, but its been a while

Hey all, Sorry for the long break.
I have thought about you guys all the time and have missed everything and everyone on Thai Dreaming. I see that things have grown and see lots of usual faces.

Well you may ask what has been happening with me. Well I have married my now lovely wife and we are expecting our first baby to arrive in December this year. The painful visa period is nearly over for the 2 of us but now we have the new hurdle of starting and raising a family.

Look forward to talking to all again and catching up on list time.

I hope that all is well.

Absolutely wonderful mate. At 28 you have lots to live through with a bub on the way. Congratulations........should be an official TD wetting the babies head soon.

Welcome back mate. How far is she along? I will be there if I can wing it.

Thanks Rivo, we are both very excited and cant wait to meet the little one.

She has settled very well here and now calls it home. Last trip to Thailand she was looking forward to getting back home (Australia). The biggest issue with her here is that she misses her family a lot, but that is to be expected. The good thing as well is that she wants to have the baby here and not Thailand liek she orginally wanted before we got married

The Misses is working here but at the moment on light duties as she miss-carried a few months back and do not want a repeat of that.

Welcome back G. Great to see that life is going well for you, and all the very best to the missus.

Since I am one of those who sneaked in while you were away, It is hardly up to me to welcome you back... 55

However, I did read your story and watched the pic's of your wedding....
By itself in many ways a similar story to many other stories on TD, but with one big difference, your age..
Most of us (and I can include myself) were sort of damaged relationship-wise before we ever set foot in Thailand..
Your "fresh" view was a great balance before my days, and I hope it will be again!

Great to hear about junior, and the good settling in in Aussie married life!

That is very possible. I have met people people at MTB in the past (RIP Niche) and I do remember that night I believe you are talking about well. I was there with some of the in laws, Quiksilva and my GF at the time (now my wife... twice 555), also had Gazmac's now wife there. Good night all round

Thanks for the kind words. I have not many many people my age in my position, but I am not surprised. I nearly gave up on a few occasions but in the end love kept me going.
