Question Planning a Trip to Cambo in November

    Hi Guys,

after planning a trip there 3 years running, I hope to finally make it to Cambo this year in November. I've already booked some accom. in PP, the Monsoon, and plan to leave on Nov 16 for Siem Reap and I've just found out that this is the beginning of their Water Festival. Seems PP is the centre of the celebrations. Thinking should I hang around longer in PP for it, or experience it in Siem Reap (I am heading straight to Isaan later, Surin, so have a tight timeline). Any thoughts?

    Cheers,
    Bawdy ---------

I`d probably head to SR to avoid the big crowds in PP. Was going to use "crush" but....

Tonlé Sap Festival (New Year) water race was cancelled yet again last year but SR had a bit of a festive atmostphere because it was still a P.Hols; there was open air music and a lot of Khmer people went to the Temple sites instead. I would stick to your plan Bawdy and for me, SR has so much to offer as long as P4P is not top of your list!
I travelled by HOME PAGE | GiantIbis luxury bus should you want to check that they are running to schedule on the 16th.

edit: if your antivirus blocks just google:- giantibis
I use Linux now so don't have that problem, just others.
Bawdy, still you have low expectations even after all the trip reports on P.I. hope you are impressed, meanwhile in Nov I shall be up in CHiang Mai hoping to be impressed!
