    Summer Breeze Hotel

I've booked the Summer Breeze Hotel for a week next month. Despite all of my time reading the phuket-info.com forums, I've never stayed there before. When in Phuket I am rarely home before 5am and don't surface until the afternoon. Wondering whether to book the quieter Summer Suites, or just got for a standard room? I only ever use the room to sleep. Is having a 'suite' overkill?

Depends what you want to do. Summer suite has a sort of small lounge area. But the standard rooms are pretty small... the superior rooms are a good compromise....

That's the thing, I would never use the lounge. Usually out of the house within 20 minutes of waking, straight to bed when I get home in the evening.

Did you notice much noise when you stayed in the superior rooms? Traffic, slamming doors, cleaners chatting etc.

I just leave the TV on loud... drowns out everything... 555

Ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you want quiet... not street side.

Someone told me that all the Superior Rooms are on the front side of the hotel overlooking soi sansabai. By the way, your room of choice was #307....I may forget a face, but never a room.55555

Had a suite facing the back, the only loud noise i heard one night was the opening night of Patong Festival, the fireworks were loud enough.

    Thanks fellas, booked the suite.

You need anything bringing over from farangland Bill? My suitcase will be half empty to make room for a few new suits.

Thanks for the offer. I am in Bkk now after a couple of days in Singapore. Not sure I need anything, but will check when I return to Phuket tonight. Cheers.

What you need to buy Bill, is plenty of 3's 0's and 7's and nail them on a few rooms after all the good reports here on such room, there may be a demand. 555
