    Phuket Time-Lapse

    this was in today's Bangkok Post, filmed July 2014

    Phuket - Island of Symphony (Time Lapse HD)



    Time-lapse photographer Saengthit Kamlangchai is back with his newly-competed film taken in Phuket.

    We have seen the work of Saengthit Kamlangchai twice before. He is the young Assumption University graduate who specialises in Time-Lapse photography taking multiple still photographs over a period of time and combining them into a moving video.

    A total of 8800 photos were used to make this film. I hope you like it

    My only experience was in a pie making factory managing the gravy team

    That's what video is , a series of pictures ... with Timelapse instead of 30 pics per second , you take one every second / or minute / or five mins , whatever you like ...

    But taking individual photos like that... one every minute say. They are somehow more defined?

    I'm going to have a bash at some timelapse photography this time. Just need to make sure the camera I get is capable of auto shooting every x seconds. Does anyone know if ALR can stitch them together natively or does it require a plug in?

    You can also film normally or leave your camera recording and then use software to take excess frames out. That's another way. Bit long winded and wasteful maybe, but it still works.

    Vegas Studio might be able to do it.

    Ok thanks will check it out. It's a shame cameras don't feature an on board native feature to produce that sort of video without the need for editing. Although if they did everyone would be doing it and it wouldn't be as impressive. 5555
