    Airport transportation, 11pm

Hi BM's, my flight arrives to Phuket 11pm. What are my transportation options to Patong?

I assume they will be there until the last flight has arrived , really can't see it being an issue

    600 - 800 Baht iirc

You could always ask your hotel for a transfer price

That is what I always did and either got the first ride free or had a big discount. You pay full fare going back.

You didnt say if you are coming to Domestic/International.

There are 2 types of taxi.

The cheaper is reached by going hard left outside each terminal.
Its called the 'Meter Taxi' and the cabs are all Corollas and red and yellow.
They will have a desk to organise whose turn it is and tell you to pay the meter PLUS 100 baht to the driver.
Meter will show 550 to 650 at Patong.

Be aware things are far more orderly and way less 'scammy' since the army arrived.
So you wont be lead around and confused as was the case a few years back.

Used to be hard right at Patong domestic?
    Has this reversed?
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!

I've been in a few times into Phuket. Totally confused this time around coming in domestic terminal.
They certainly aren't making it clear.
Ended up in a limo taxi at 900b into Patong.

Booking a transfer with briofoz is my recommendation.
