Adjusting and now loving western appliances

Here is a few things that JK has changed her view on regarding home appliance machines. Her family in BKK has 2 appliances in the home...a TV and a fridge

The Washing Machine......yep hand washing clothes has nearly gone out the window...when she 1st arrived many of my clothes and all of hers would be hand washed....now i think its only some of her under garments that are done by hand......ahh J so you like my washing machine now hey.....big smile from J...yes i love your wash machine

Dish Washer ..... she loved this one from day one...although it took a little convincing that it is more hygenic to use as i tried to explain the tempature of the hot water inside the dish washer compared to trying to hand wash dishes....then one day she opened mid clean and out came a rush of steam and heat....then she got it.

Vacumm Cleaner......she calls this one the Voom Voom machine .....ahhh J you dont use the broom anymore, why? ...big smile....why i must to broom when i have the Voom Voom

Hot Showers .....this one i know will hit her when she is back in BKK one day on a slightly cooler BKK day and has a cold 1 minute shower

Clothes Dryer....this one she doesn't use much ....to much money on power.....but on a cold wet day suddenly its a miracle machine.

Foxtel IQ.......what i can watch this later ??

Anyone have anything else to add??

The oven is another one. Noy loves the oven and has many photos with it in it. Cooking her firast batch of cookies she sat in front of it and just watched them raise in front of her eyes.

Hah... washing machine, we just bought a new auto model (Made in Thailand of course) Nut has since bought one for mama in the village, so Papa has had to construct a new place for it to sit and make sure the power is up to it and water in from the dam as well as water out to the chillies...555

What i was amazed at was how quickly they adapt, and learn.

I have told before, how i only ever showed Jeab how to work the washing machine, once, the oven she was a bit timid about, but TV and DVD and wii games not a second leason.

As was said, it is amazing what we take for granted.

Funny thing is I hardly use our dish washer nowadays. We, well he cooks mostly Thai food now and we don't get all the dirty pans that we used to. Couple of plates and a big wok type pan, not worth putting a full size machine on for that!!!

When I had a dishwasher, and was single, I had 3 sets of plates and knive's, just loaded it up and did one load a week.
