The start of our new lives together

I just thought I would start a running update of where Me and Noy are at now. We met just over 2 years ago and Noy has changed my life in so many ways and I would not Change anything. It was a rough 2 years with Tourist Visas and long periods of time apart but that has now come to an end.

Noy's was recently approved for her PMV to become a Temp Australian Resident. From here we will get Married twice in the process to becoming an Australian Citizen. December 9 2012 we will be getting Married in Melbourne at the Marriage Registry with 7 of our closest family members, After this we will have a late lunch with the rest of our family and closest friends. I will be sure to upload photos after the day

As I have said in another post, the Melbourne Wedding has been pushed forward to this year so that we can apply for the next Visa (Partner Visa), which will allow Noy to be eligible for Medicare (the Australian Medical health scheme). Just before Noy came to Australia this time she went to the Udon Thani hospital to get a few things checked out. Here she found out that she has Endometriosis and Stomach Ulcers... In Australia we will have to get these things treated very soon as Endometriosis could affect us having children and as for the ulcers Noy has been told to lay off the Chilli. I dont know what Noy was more upset about 555. Once she has Medicare we ill be able to treat both these things without costing an arm and a leg.

The next wedding will be the traditional Thai Wedding in Udon Thani at Noy's family house. Things have been set in motion for this day and we have even booked of inbound flights on an AA Sale . All TD members are welcome to come to the wedding if around at that time. The wedding is set of October 9 2013 and after that will be a Bucks night in Patong

Things are getting very interesting at home with talks of joint bank accounts, Noy working, Children and Noy taking my name after the wedding. We are both very excited and the organising is well under way. We currently live with my Mum and brother to try and help with costs but as of the end of the year we will have the house to ourselves.

The is pretty much us up to date at the moment and I will be sure to add more over time.

a bit more of an update.
It has been a very busy time the last month. With planning 2 wedding, a Bucks and Hens night, buying a new car and Noy working and driving but everything is coming together smoothly. Just recently had my bucks night which was a great night out. I was well looked after by my mates and my Brother who is my best man. We had a night in the city starting at the Casino where we had a game of laser force and many drinking. From there we went to a few bars and a few "Gentlemen" bars. The night ended around 4am where I went to a hotel which was booked for me and some mates. Not one call from Noy and she still has not asked any questions about it. In my eyes that is a big jump in her being more trusting. She is a very jealous girl and initially did not want to allow a Bucks night.

Her Hens night is coming up this weekend and my Brothers GF has done a great job organizing it, Although there were a few hiccups along the way and being $100s out of pocket before the night even starts it is coming together her.

We just brought a new car. In the end Noy said she wanted to have a car that will be good for our future family and decided to look into SUV's. As I had been looking at cars for a while I had a few ideas but in the end we went with the VW Tiguan. We went Petrol as it worked out more economical in the long run. It is a great car and we got a great deal for it as a Brand New car.

in under a month Noy and I will be a married couple. Everything for the day (December 9) is just about booked. As is has been said it will be a small ceremony in the Registrar with a late lunch afterwards for family and some friends. We have booked a night in a hotel room so we can spend our first night alone as a married couple. I am actually surprised as I am very much looking forward to it and not worrying as I expected I might be.

Noy has been doing a lot of driving under my supervision and has picked it up very quickly. To the point she is now driving short trips on her own. She is working 6 days a week and loving the money. We now do not have as much time together but we both understand it is what we have to do and TBH I enjoy some time to myself from time to time. Noy has made a few new friends and is really starting to fit into the Australian way. She now calls Australia home but still misses her family from time to time as you would expect.

Also just a week ago we found out that one of out good friends from Thailand had passed away. He was a healthly 27 year old man up until the very end. One day he became very sick all of a sudden and was admitted to hospital where he died later that day. They then found out that he had an aggressive form of Lung Cancer which had killed him. Before that, he had no idea he had cancer. He has left behind a GF, an elderly mother and many friends. He was the only person able to send money home to his mum so now his friends have put their hands up to help provide to her. He will be sadly missed by many as he is laid to rest today. It was just a month ago that he was talking to me about how to get a visa to come to Australia for a holiday. He had been saving for many years as he always wanted to go to Australia but he will never make that trip. At lease that money will be very helpful for his mother and to cover his funeral costs.

    RIP Jiinz

A VW Tiguan? Surely a Hilux Vigo or DMax would be better suited to carrying all family members.

Good to read the updates G, keep 'em coming.
    Cheers, Rob.

555, one thing Noy and myself have agreed on is a maximum of 3 children.... She is a very smart girl with money and understand the more children the harder it will be for all financially. For an uneducated person she is an extremely smart person

Great to hear all is moving forward in what feels like super fast fashion G4. It feels like just yesterday that you and Noy were sneaking her to Oz without the family knowing. All the best mate. Sorry to hear about your friend, amazing how many people only find out that they have serious medical conditions and it is too late to remedy.

Well things are still going great. Noy is enjoying work and the money and really fitting into the family and the Australian way of living. Noy had her Hens night and had a great time, She went on the Girls Night afloat with a few of her new Aussie friends. I was sent to pick her and some others off from the city and then nurse Noy through her Hangover the following day.

This time next week we will be officially and Legally married in Australia. Everything is fully booked and ready to go. We are lucky enough to have my uncle who is willing to take our photos for us on the day. The wedding is a very small ceremony at the Registry in Melbourne but afterwards we will have our family and closest friends meet for a late lunch to celebrate to events of the day.

With married it also means time for another visa. I am currently in the process of putting everything together for the Partner Visa. This time around it seems to be a bit easier then the PMV earlier on in the year. I have already seen that I will have a few questions for the Partner visa thread. Once this visa is applied for she will be granted another 2 years temp residency and be elegible for Medicare so she will be able to be treated for some of her Medical issues.
