Since my first trip to Pattaya in October 1981 with the Royal Australian Navy, I have met three TG's who I realy though about/or did marry.

First one in 1990, she had just turned 18, but had been working in a bar for a couple of years and I was 29. I was not working at the time and spend 3 months with her, before I had to return to Aust to look for work. I re-enlisted in the RAN and subsequently didn't keep in contact with her enough, so that when I went back about 9 months later she was gone, whereabouts unknown. This was my fault for not keeping up contact, but it was much harder back then with no email or mobile phone, and I still wonder if I made a bad mistake.

Second one in 1996, she was just 19 and had just started working in a bar, and after going back to see her 4 times within about a year, she came Aust and we married. Mistakedly I introduced her to the Casino here in Darwin and then things went down hill very fast. After about 2 years we had blown about $100k, all my savings/pay/credit cards maxed out, so she found a new boyfriend and we separated. Although we were separated we still saw each other about every week and were still friends, and we never divorced. And to cut a long story short, she ended up working as a call girl here and was murdered in March 2004.

Third one in 2010, she is 31 and I have just turned 50, she has never worked in a bar and only worked in Pattaya for about 3 months as a waitress (you can believe it or not, I'm not fussed) and is now home permanently in Khon Kaen. I had only made two trips back to LOS (Pattaya) in about the last 10 years since my last wife. We applied for a Tourist Visa after I had gone home only 12 days after meeting her! It was declined as we had not know each other long enough and they thought she had no good reason to return to LOS. I went back on the 11th of Feb and returned on the 1st of Ma. Apart from a few day in Bangkok the remainder of the time was in Khon Kaen. We applied again for a Tourist Visa whilst in Bangkok and it was approved, however by this time we were unable to get her on my flights. She is now booked and will arrive in Darwin on the 16th of March. We are realy looking forward to this visit and hopefully we can make it work.
    Thanks for reading.

I hope that the Prcik that did it was caught and is spending eternity behind bars.

Best of luck on your latest venture. A question what type of proof paperwork did you have to produce to get the second visa approved?

Good luck this time around Windy. Very interesting read and sorry to hear about your past wife. I know to me the whole idea of introducing my GF to the casino in Melb is a worry. I have heard many stories about TGs getting hooked very easily. I have a bad history of Gambling issues in the family and personally not a fan of it all for that reason. I know the casino in Melb is a thing to see here but I don't want my GF to get hooked. Any advice you would give to me?

Was thinking that one, but Crown is a good place to see. She doesn't even know what a Casino is (confirmed) so would be something totally different for her. I like Crown but when I go I rarely gamble, if I do I set a low limit and stick to it. I like the atmosphere or it all

Teens sentenced to life for croc-river murders
    By Karen Michelmore
    March 20, 2005

Two teenagers have been sentenced to life imprisonment over the drowning murder of two sex workers in a crocodile infested river.

Friends Ben William McLean and Phu Ngoc Trinh sat emotionless as a jury today found them both guilty of two counts of murder.

The unanimous verdict came after more than 12 hours of jury deliberations, and at the end of a sensational five-week trial in the Northern Territory Supreme Court.

The 19-year-olds originally confessed to the murder after they were discovered hiding in a cupboard in a friend's Brisbane home during a midnight police raid a week after the killings.

McLean originally claimed the bikie gang Hells Angels forced them to kill the women to pay off a drug debt, but the teens later admitted the story was a pack of lies.

But in a twist at the end of the trial it was claimed an Asian crime gang was responsible for the killings, and McLean was not even present during the murders.

The elaborate story gained some weight when the prosecution was forced to reopen its case with new evidence at the 11th hour.

Police uncovered security footage that showed Trinh was where he said he was at a particular time on the night of the killings.

However, the jury today chose to disbelieve the teens' Asian crime gang story with a guilty verdict, which investigator Greg Lade described as a ``great result''.

``We're obviously happy, it's good to see that the jury system does work,'' head of the investigation, Detective Sergeant Lade said outside court.
``We were confident all the way through.

    ``It's a big case and it's a difficult case.

``There was those full frank confessions to start with and it changed dramatically towards the end of the trial.

``All we can say is at the end of the day a good result.''

Darwin sex workers Phuangsri Kroksamrang, 58, and Somjai Insamnan, 27, were bound with cable ties and thrown alive into the Adelaide River, near Darwin in March last year.

Their floating bodies were discovered by crocodile spotting tour operators a couple of days later.

Police later found clothing and items belonging to the women burnt in a fire on Trinh's family property, and a receipt for the rope, tape and cable ties used to bind the women in Trinh's wallet.

Justice Dean Mildren, who has described the killings as ``horrific'', today sentenced the teenagers to mandatory life imprisonment.

What a terrible way to go, I actually do recall this case, made me feel very ordinary reading the above just then. I hope their back ends are permantley shaped like a 50c piece whilst they are in jail they deserve it, low life mongrels.

    Thanks to all.
Yes it was very tragic and sometimes I think what would have happened if I hadn't brought her to Aust. But it was her decision to leave me, so nothing I could realy do. I helped her in many ways after we separated including financially and with remaining in Aust. I had only been to the Immigration Department with her a few days before she was killed to do an interview so she could be granted Aust Citizenship, which she would have gotten on Australia Day 2005 (this was the exact day my mother passed away!). I still remember one of the things she said to me just before we separated, "I love you, but not same husband, same papa, same budda". It seems the marriage was doomed from the start, but she was a very nice and fun loving girl, and no matter what she was doing as a job, she did not deserve what happened to her. The only advice about the gambling is don't introduce them to it here, I will not be taking my new TGF anywhere near the casino when she is here. Ironically I have worked in the gambling industry for the last 11 years as a Sports Trader, but very rarely go to the casino these days. I have nothing against gambling, as long as you can afford it and don't get addicted.

Someone asked about the paperwork we supplied for the Tourist Visa for my current TGF. I supplied, a Letter of Invitation where I explained our situation and what I would supply, a complete list of phone calls to her, some photos, copies of my latest pay slip, 6 months worth of bank statements showing the pay going into it and copies of some bank transfers where I have sent money to her. She basically had to make them believe she had something to come back to, so she had receipt for a motor bike in her name, proof she owns some land and proof she had a daughter who would be remaining with the family. We only asked for a months visa, but the minimum one they have is 'up to 3 months', so atleast we can extend the trip up to 3 months if we wish.
    Cheers

Thanks for sharing what i think was a painful time in your life. As you say we all make our own choices but no one deserves regardless of circumstance what happened to her.
