EVA were actually a few pounds cheaper this time but I much prefer the afternoon departure and the morning arrival in BKK. And the return flight gets me into London early enough to get a train back to Devon.
Thai is my favourite of the 3 but they were the most expensive and their timings are not that great for me. Eva lost my vote after I got fed up with all the public announcements in 3 different languages and being surrounded by Chinese and their bad habits. I love the EVA girls though 555

We book w/ a travel agent that has some clout with Eva so he books us in upper deck economy(upper dick as AO calls it 555)
Which feels like you are in business class, IMO

So how many of you are counting down the days till your next trip?

Feeling a bit down and depressed at the moment. Exactly 8 weeks and a few hours time till I fly. Can't come soon enough. 555

My October trip will be number 4 for this year.555. After that I have no more leave left to use up........until January when I get my new quota.
My 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern helps me do this. Just by using 4 days leave I am actually off for 12 days. So planning short trips is easy.
I also try not to spend too much on fancy hotels anymore and look out for when the flights are cheaper.

Next trip now booked.. Arrive on the 14th Feb and leave again on the 8th March.
The normal five days in Pattaya to start the trip off and then on to CM for a catch up.
A few weeks earlier than normal, so hopefully a little cooler at the stat.

And the mad rush of CNY in Chiang Mai 555 Only realized after I had booked.

Valentine's day I don't mind. It will be my first evening so I would probably be splashing the cash a bit anyway.

That’s a nice length of time for a holiday. I will hopefully be returning at the end of Feb for about 8 or 9 days.
