    21-28 February BKK

Heading back in Feb, 7 nights flying solo before meeting up with the family in Malaysia for a week.

Anyone going to be around for a drink?

Also, does anyone (calling all the expats, especially Rugby League fans) know where/if the Rugby League World Cup Challenge will be shown in BKK?

I'm pretty sure it will be shown at the Downunder bar in Chaing Mai, but I won't be able to get there in time for it Stu.

I am looking for somewhere in BKK to have a few drinks and get loud watching it live.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers!

Haha, you don't/wont care, because there will be cold beer and hot women.

I would watch English soccer if I get to enjoy it in a LOS bar.

Just in case anyone else is interested, we are planning on meeting up at Bar 4 on Friday night, 21st Feb.

dont stress mate...most bars on soi 4 televise the rugby league & union matches live.

just have a look around when the match is on or just ask the bar managers before hand to see if they televise it..

    Do you mean "you're" English?

Kiwi mate. I know a lot of Aussies struggle with the sophistication of Union... 555

Not really unions a very popular game in 2 states. I dont mind international union but that super rugby comp is piss weak.

    League is better than union

Opinion of course. I grew up watching both. But generally find League too one dimensional... it used to excite me when it was pro and Union was amateur... but I like the variety and complexity of top Union.

But its an argument neither of us will win. Cause we like what we like... 555

AFL is where they run around in wife beaters kicking the ball a lot right? Can't for the life of me work out why that sport never caught on elsewhere....

McCullum is a nervous ninny right now... hopefully he gets to 300 then declares...

Not to mention the sophisticstion of the hunks of meat that play it.

Isn't there a maximum IQ limit for rugby players? 555

But in defence of Kiwis, they are particularly creative when it comes to new styles of play. Just ask about John Hopate. 55555

Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.
