Tonight I had my first commercially made hamburger meal (burger, fries and a Coke) in 8 months. A Whopper Burger King meal for $10. I was getting home late after a visit with my kids in Victoria and didn't feel like cooking... even though I had food in the fridge. Tomorrow it's back to home made meals.

^ Did the same myself today Ian - had to travel for medical stuff and we grabbed maca's - I got the new angus and crispy bacon meal.
Tasted OK, but I reckon they broil the meat more than actually BBQ it and their buns are sh1t - filled a hole though..............

McShit fry - HJs (Burger King) grill/BBQ them. Vive la difference.
They are as different as KFC and Red Rooster.
Mc probably brand on BQ stripes pre cooking.

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!

Red Rooster ain't what it use to be. I use to love their BBQ chickens but pass on it these days.
The chicken roll and chips is all I'll touch there now.

I only eat Burger King in Thailand at the airport!

It's always pretty damn good and cooked to order

Did you just get "older", Ian?

If so, then happy birthday. Good way to celebrate it.

I made myself two pizzas last night and ate one of them. Then I watched the NBA playoff basketball game on TV.

the Barossa valley and Margret river make some very good shiraz wines, at quite low production costs $10 bottles that taste as good as a European $30 bottle

cheers , just at home , so many great new world wines available here and as OD says normally cheaper than the European equivalent, was surprised when I saw the strength though , still pretty easy to drink

    What are you eating ?

I staggered out of a bar last night and had one of these wraps. This morning I noticed I had taken a picture. The wrap is soft and almost like an omelette as it already has stuff cooked into it, including egg. Then they put meat and herbs and chili and stuff in the middle. 10 RMB, or about two bucks. So good.

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards.

That would've been my guess...but that road is a bit out of place. None like it on Fraser.
    Probably photo shopped.
