Sh*t, I gotta start hanging out with SE. I'm always on the hunt for good food that's both delicious and presented well, but the finds are few and far between over there.

Do you normally research good restaurants before hand?

Damn I need to try make use of that app next time I'm in Thailand. Do you pre plan where to go or just pick something close by based on your location?

Nearly murder in the Doctors today. Went in for a check up and as I was leaving he said in a booming voice ‘don’t eat anything fatty’. I responded with ‘like chips or pizza’. With a confused look on his face he replied ‘No, just don’t eat anything, Fatty’. What a prick! Luckily there is an in-house dentist for him.

    You can do both
It breaks it down by food category but also by areas

    It really is amazing
I usually get 50% off because I like to eat later 9-10pm

Another great thing about the app
If you are staying at a big hotel a lot of times 2 or 3 of their restaurants are on the app
So you can just hit the app and head downstairs

^ Don't use Eatigo for Banyan Tree restaurant, Vertigo Too, unless you like ridiculously loud live music while dining.

Dined at Viva Pizza San Patong again last night and we all enjoyed their fabulous pizzas and the family-like environment. They are such lovely people and take real pride in their food it's a joy to visit. I managed to cram in a large slice of Tiramisu for dessert .... oh my Buddha, what a heavenly delight! Texture and flavour transcending anything I've sampled before (other than my Mothers sherry trifle) and only 65 thb.

File photo below is almost exactly like Viva's presentation >

For anyone based in Phuket I just found a place in Rawai called "Food for Foreigners". Impressive stock of hundreds of imported foods at very reasonable prices (I just got half a kilo of Australian chedder for 123 Baht). Look them up on Facebook to get a list of their products. They deliver free anywhere on Phuket when you spend over 800 baht.

Any of those big hotel rooftops are like going to DisneyWorld

    Tourist central

Even the big 5 star hotels on the river have great patios out by the river
And tons of small Thai places dotted around the river

I love a good steak sambo with fresh crispy bread. A couple of vodka sodas to wash it down with and its hard getting back to work after.

^ Most of that looks fried. Perfect way to ruin the crap out of any food.
