I struggled a bit with this bastard, but I got it done at the end.

Are tingles down your left arm normal?

Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

Pork belly my favourite meat! That looks like it came off a nice young sow, and should have melted in the mouth.

I do one recipe regularly, a slow cook (or pressure cook) spicy Manila stew, but my favourite is similar to above, twice cooked belly. Bangalow pork (NSW) was always a favourite in Oz though in Thailand most pork is of a high quality from different breeds.

^ It was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but aside from that perfect.

I find chicken, pork and lamb(grilled or BBQ) taste better in Thailand(never had good beef). Probably because they don't pump their animals full of hormones. It's down right nasty here these days. You don't know whether you're looking at a chicken or turkey breast sometimes.

    Chicken is certainly better here.
Each visit to Oz I struggle to find to fresh (small/medium) filets or wings. Much of the lamb comes from NZ, some from Oz, same with imported beef.
We buy fresh chilled NSW beef cuts at Makro for much the same price as sold in Oz... BBQ in new house will get a hiding ... soon.
    Cheers, Rob.

Chicken soup, with fresh asparagus on the side covered in Béarnaise sauce made a nice warm meal on a cold day here on Vancouver Island. We actually had a brief snow fall on the island on my cold ride back from Port Alberni.
