A Great But Regular Day In Thailand

If there were no restrictions on you time wise, what would you do with your day in Thailand and where in Thailand would you be.

What would your regular, but very enjoyable days contain. Would your day still contain a lot of the things you currently do at home. Perhaps you would have two bases.

I would probably alternate between Chiang Mai and Hua Hin and would still build in a good exercise program to my day along with online work, eating out of good Thai food, but a western breakfast. I could also put up with being dragged around a mall for a coffee and to view the beauties, but 40 minutes maximum. Continued daily hour and a half Thai learning sessions.

A couple of cold ones and watch the football at the weekend. Finally to travel around Thailand and outside of it when the feeling takes me as working on line gives me the freedom. Nothing fancy, but simple and easy. Oh yes and the sun shine, something rarely seen here in the UK would be constantly with me. Marvellous.

I'd alternate between Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Isaan and Phuket. I'd need a house with a 25m swimming pool in each location... so that I could train every day. I would also need access to some good running routes/tracks.... and a pool to cool off after my run. I would need a beautiful TG to cook me lovely meals at my leisure... and to pleasure me when I so desire...

I would want access to all UK satellite TV stations on a 50inch TV. Fast internet connection and aircon rooms available wherever I stayed...

    Something like this:

2 locations for me, 1 in Bkk and one up country somewhere.

Up country should look something like this..

This one in BKK......any one want to fund my dream.555

Anywhere i am i need to be able to do this

35km a day cycling done early then on the net and working for a few hours.
    late afternoon onwards for relaxing.
Alternating between Bkk and a secret up country location. 5555

    D.P: That is sensational

I like that you totally know what you would do. Why have two places when you can have 4. Getting the best of life from various locations.

Not so unlike me in places D.P . I must have a gym for some weights, a good running track and a pool also and the online work.
I went for a run in Bangkok about 6am one morning in February this year and had to fight off a stray dog on my heels, I outpaced him on the bend though. Lucky it was 6am as if later and the sun was up he could have won that one.

I am that much of a secret Billionaire D.P that it was a secret to me as well.....I wish. Absolutely brilliant stuff D.P

Seriously though if you do not have something constructive to do it would and does become mind numbing.
For me i love building so i plan to spend some time building a house maybe a couple...that for me totally fun.
Give me a pile of wood and i am happy as a pig in shisit.5555
At the end of the day when you have done something constructive for yourself sitting back with a mate or two shooting the breeze with the odd beer that is life.

I will assit also as i consider myself a bit of a handy man, I can get in and do the electronics/electricity etc.. i would love to build my own place, I think it would be so much easier to do in LOS as in Australia there are so many legal aspects you have to go through just get permits before you can start building... I see in now TD constructions 5555

I have way to many dreams to add to this but will see if i can put something into words for the tread

Less of a crisis... and more of a daydream... or even something to aim for...

So far I have found dogs in Thailand to be quite docile... maybe I have been lucky... 555

And.... actually in an ideal world, I wouldn't just live in LOS. I'd spend the year in 2 or 3 countries... and probably avoid LOS from April till November...

What happens if your mind is numb already?

I want to be the one who does the research on that question ... how long will it take me to get sick of these one by one.....but then again I'm the guy who can't see why solitary confinement is used as a punishment and not a reward.....

    1. The beach at Chumphon....serene
    2. Ko Chang.....peaceful
    3. Pattaya.....energy
    4. Living in Bangkok....variety
    5. Repeat....

    Enjoy
