    Thai Life Style

In the final part of a guest interview with Khun Keown a Thai lady who moved from Thailand to the UK almost 30 years ago, she today talks about lifestyle in Thailand.

Would love to hear tips and advice from anyone else here on the forum of favourite must visit places in Thailand and must eat dishes.

Thanks for the final instalment Giggsy and Keown. Hopefully we will get many more instalments from Keown on the forum. Hua Hin is definately on my list of places to visit.

Thanks Contrarian, Wabbits and Rockitt, glad you enjoyed it. I am hoping to do more Life style interviews on Thailand with Thais and Farangs that have experience and good tips to offer.

    I liked these Thai proverbs:

I quote: Be satisfied with what you have.
Seven times good, seven times bad. Meaning fortunes change . In times of difficulty don’t get downhearted, because times ahead often prove better.

    Great thread thank you

    Thanks Annie
I love proverbs and did two posts on Thai proverbs and culture on my blog at the end of last year.
If you are interested, I have put them under the Culture and language section on a new thread. Two parts.

Fantastic Post, giggsy, thankyou so much for posting your amazing interview with Khun Keown, it has been a really interesting read. Her insights into how to deal with a Thai gf/wife in a funk could be really helpful one day soon, too! 555

I love music, so I had to immediately check out Keown's favorite artist, Siriporn Umpaipong. Wow! What a sweet and haunting voice! I could listen to her for hours.

and for a total change of pace, this one is a GREAT video in own right ... Thai Party Time! ... check out the dancing girls!! 555

Again, thanks for the great posts. Keown, have a great time this summer as you spend time in LOS!

    Your welcome,

    He is/they are top people.

You may not thank me by the time you read your way thru it all. At one stage it was going so fast I was reading 3 pages, and 4 more new had been added in the same time 555

I did mention TD on it when TD first kicked off, and I feel 90% of the thread follower's there are very much like us here, but just a bit more localised in their interest, Pattaya.

When you read his past life, and the stuff he went thru, he really does deserve to be where he is now, and happiness.

^^^ VG your links to the Thai songs were great. I especially loved the second link. It reminded me of a night we had on our last trip. We were sat in a bar with Lek near our hotel, a Thai lady was singing (like Karoke), it was a great atmosphere and Lek loved it. The Thai singer had her young daughter with her and she even sang a couple of songs. She was only about 10 years old and she was very much enjoying entertaining us farangs. Great evening.
