    TG travel

What countries can a TG travel to (i.e. short holiday) without the visa grief they get when coming to Australia?

And do they have to have a passport in all instances?

I will let you know how we go in Singapore, I am meeting my TG at the end of this month in BKK, after 4 days there we are going to Singapore together, her first time out of LOS, she only got her passport a couple of weeks ago. I got AA airtickets on special for BKK to SG $44.00US each plus charges, works out at around $100 AUD each, cheap IMO.

IMO, I was nto a fan of Singapore as a holiday destination and niether was Noy. We did not really see much but from what we saw we were not impressed. It is just oo clean for me. I am now used to the litter on the streets from melb and Thailand. I could see Singapore as a nice place to live but I will not be hurrying back for a holiday anytime soon. I guess that is a younger persons perspective on Singapore. I also found it to be expensive there.

P.S. Go the Mighty Blues :P just fr those previous comments above....

Planning a business trip for Singapore and Hong Kong. TG will probably fly solo to meet me in Singapore, and then travel with me to Hong Kong. From this thread it sounds like there are no visa dramas, just buy a ticket and fly.

It would be great to hear of any experiences, good or bad.

Passport would be handy. Girls coming into Singapore buy themselves can be grilled. Make sure she has enough money, hotel reservations and all details she will be doing while she is there.

My TG had no issues at Changi, I wanted to walk up to immigration with her, was not allowed, she showed her passport then stamped and your in

She was not asked to show any money or bankbook. ( Maybe you could supply a letter saying you will be supporting her and give a contact number, just as security ? )

She did managed to get the man from immigration to smile with the words "this my firt time Singapore" 555
