    Life can be short

This reminds me just how fragile and short life can be...When we read about people being killed or die in an unfortunate manner to early in life we find it sad.

But if someone in your extended family dies it comes a little closer to home.

Mrs W's step niece who I have never metas she had been away working or at school the times I was in LOS.

Well I come home and find Mrs W intears, she then pre-seeds to tell me of a phone call to her brother.

Seems her niece has died in South Thailand under mysterious circumstances!

I ask what does that mean and Mrs W tells me that the police told her brother that his Daughter had a fight with her friend and then locked herself in her room and killed herself......

But things did not really add up asthings came to light.

Some back ground that Mrs W is quitemad about as is her brother and the family.

Her nieces friend had taken her to South Thailand on the promise of big money, sound familiar?

Not as a bar girl per say but as Coyote dancer in a Thai mainly community. Believe me if the family knew what she was really doing it she would have been dragged kicking and screaming back home.

Now my understanding from what I would glean is she was not going with customers as she was to afraid! Thisis a 17 year old kid!!!

But she was being pressured by herfriend and her boss who I am told is Mafia.

We family found all this out via herdiary which she kept very up to date.

Now her diary out lined her life how scared and lonely but also how she dreamed and planned to giver her mum and her family a better life and that she would do what she must.

It outlined many goals I am told, thisis a girl looking to the future would you not say?

Now the body was recovered and taken back to Surin about 1300km Mrs W's brother drove down and escorted her back.

The body had rope marks, burns on her ankles and her wrists and obvious strangle marks...

The police said she hung herself...Bull****.

This poor 17 year old girl wasmurdered!!! There has been reports of 2 men leaving her room aboutthe time she died and it is reported through various Thai speaking forums that the Mafia did it.

The police I bet know who did it but weknow what the out come will be.

Mrs W looked for a long time to findsome info on the net but did not.

Rest in Peace Non even though I nevermet you I know so much from an aunt who loved you very much

Its a very sad thing and it makes you aware of the structure of families and limits they put on some aspects.
Mrs W had not wanted to ask to many questions of Non as she was a step neice so some restraints and limits to what she felt she could inquire about.
If she was a a neice by blood then she would have felt she could pry much further and maybe there would have been a different outcome.
This i think hurts her some what the feeling of maybe she could have done more.

We will never know what really happened..Hard to put into words..

Very Sad business. Can not put into words Rabbs. Loss and injustice.
I have been pondering VG's thread the difference. With no easy answer. This is a part of the difference. The harsh reality after the holiday is over.
This has hit home for me. More than just the Phi and me.

Thoughts are with you and family. Step or not family!

its moments like these that make one realise the dark hard underbelly that still exists in this country and the indoctrinated corruption (within the police ranks) that allows these animals to literally get away with murder (torture, enslavement etc)...its a sad indictment of the whole country IMO and it sickens me to think one human can subject another to this sort of treatment let alone that they can get away with it unpunished

very sorry to hear of this and that it has touched your family in such an horrendous way Wabbits

This is a terrible thing, and we all ..spit on it and those that did it...

Kamah and Buhda, will revenge this girl's inocent soul!

I am sorry that it has to be so close to you and Joy, I am sure there could have been many many more desired results for this girl, so young.

I feel Joy's and family, and your, grief, but one day, these lowlife's, will be sorted, I would love to be there, and part of it.

If I win Lotto, it will be done .

Tell Joy and Family, I am so sorry for their loss.

Like all the others on the board, it is hard to find the words to say to you and Joy at a time like this. It is hard to imagine the pain that Joy and the family must be feeling for such a senseless loss. Know that we are thinking of you.
