    Songkran 2012

Just had this sent to me by a TG in Pommie Land. Hope it works. Happy Songkran everyone!

    Excelent Vid Spot.
Shows the real tradition and celebration of Songkran.
I noticed it didn't have much coverage of any formal celebration in Pattaya 55555

I missed out on it by a week my first trip. All my expat mates that live there have left town and gone up to their partners/wife's village's to escape the crap that goes on. They like the way it is celebrated in the villages
but not the overdone it is in Patts.

PS Spot, good work at getting the Vidio posted and working.

Thanks Mate Sydney's work has educated me. I gotta say that TD has taught me lots in the IT area.

My next biggy will be how the hell do I upload 1 minute of video from my PC without it taking 80 minutes. I am compiling for my next post on 28 days - ooops off topic.

    Happy Songkran

Your upload issue SPot is probably because you haven't compressed your videos at all so the file is huge.......Upload speed is also always alot slower then download........

But more important is the file size of your vids.........what are they say for 2 minutes?...........ideally they would be about 10 to 20 Mb but i am betting they are a lot larger ?

Watched the formal part of Songkran via Skype today...washing, prayers, etc. Felt very special to be included, even if only via skype.

Here's a few photo's from CM, taken today outside KSK Central.

Live bands diagonally opposite meant doof doof shook the fook out of everything and could be felt inside Central. Water everywhere >

    Cheers, Rob.

Cilla, I use this program SUPER &copy - Media File Converter, Media File Encoder, Video Player, Audio Player, Media Player , you can change file size, compress pretty well get any file that will not play converted so it will, and it is freeware

Also VLC media player VideoLAN - Official page for VLC media player, the Open Source video framework! is very handy to have as you can record parts of a long movie you have or break it up into parts, plus I find it a far better player than WMP as it also does .flv files, and amazingly it is freeware too
