    WiFi in the North

What ISP has the best coverage for WiFi in Chiang Mai, Lumphun and Mae Sae?

In Chiang Mai, AIS generally has best phone/data wifi coverage if you're buying a USB aircard.

FREE wifi is available in the city, major shopping centres, servo's, schools, Night Safari, tourist strips (eg: Nimmenhaemin Rd) and govt buildings, via AIS or True. Good for phone/tablet.
    Cheers, Rob.

Rivo, Jaffaman or Moo may know about outside CM, Mae Sae for example.

AIS/TOT recently launched 3G services but I have only used the slower 2G in Isaan with AIS and it was fine for limited email/forum access. You might find more up-to-date info on Thai Geezer.
    Cheers, Rob.

For my Tablet I went with 12call and it worked nearly everywhere, most nights we stayed in smallish country centres and 12call worked, some towns the internet was noticably slower but still worked.

My telephone is True and is nowhere as good a coverage as 12call.

1-2-Call ... is AIS. Top up at any 7/11.
    Cheers, Rob.

I have 1-2 call and have no problem with connection in the North.
