That feeling doesn't get any easier, the older you get trust me. If you live in a wet climate and have arthritis...you miss it more.

Maybe this fella just started to young ? ...which is interesting, because the mind can be less stable, or less strong when you are younger and lets face it, he has or did hit it fairly hard when over there ....

Start planning your next trip. Even if it's going to be months away. Just get a spreadsheet going or something to see when you can make it next. Look at flights for around the time you want to go, etc etc. That helps with the blues.

Do you have a motorbike? Get one if you don't. It's good for the soul. At times like this you can just go for a ride and it clears your head.
Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

With the risk of being belittle again on your threads being cool but uncool. Sup and I'm serious see a doctor. You are searching for something that is fantasy. The call to the old blokes speaks volumes. Not a hint of jest mate.

To fulfil you as a person is not a place it is your thinking. Not your body but the people you chose to surround you.

There are no short cuts mate. Missing LOS is a symptom of something that is missing.

Take that advice and ponder it.

Honestly, I don't think age matters. No one should be sitting at home dreaming of some far off world unless they are taking steps to be there permanently.

I can see the point of a guy wanting to live in Thailand, so he makes a plan, cuts down on his spending at home and makes it happen.
But to forego your life at home with no real plan and just planning next trip after next trip, your wasting your life

Well Mr Bacon, i guess you are now a tru convert. 5555

I have been going to ask how you and the bike are going.???

Sup, i saw your thread when it was posted but decided to wait and see, for two reasons, firstly I thought maybe your just drunk and second to see who gave you advise, good or bad.

My comment now is, you are young, working earning money so as others said, by a ticket. Be glad you haven't had 4 yrs dry like me

M26 is right. Get a grip on real life especially for a mid twenties kid. Either get a job in Asia or stop going. You should never be in despair. Thailand is an illusion fueled by money ......

I got a new job with the same company. They will not let me take 3 weeks at the same time. I may not go this year......but have already a bed a few replacement trips.

Miami/Southbeach November, Honduras and Belize in March and the Cartegena in June/July timeframe.

See the world .... Lots out there to explore. Thailand is only a small part.
