The 2nd one Gaz is cool .... just wondering if anyone wants to take a stab at the year, the cars are a good indication ... Siam till 1939 ?

Some classic quotes in it .... the Venice of Asia and 12 Million souls live their lives in partial seclusion ..

Looking at the comments, someone suggests 1937 for the Siam temples one
And 1977 for the farming one

I posted this one over on AI today...what interests me most is the old Oriental Hotel at the very start where I stayed with my family as a kid in the early 60's and the riverfront shots...also the Royal Barge Museum has always been a favourite haunt of mine

We do 8mm Cinefilm transfers here Rivo .. old scratchy footage can be cleaned up quite well, using frame-servering scripts and complex algorithms, we can de-noise, remove dust and dirt, sharpen and stabilize the footage, correct colours and use interpolation to turn 18 frames per second film into 25 frames per second digital files ...

Interpolation is fascinating, as it creates new frames using data from existing frames

The film is first scanned frame by frame, so essentially creating 18 photos for each second of film ...

I love doing film ( 50's 60's and 70's mainly) , so much more interesting then video shot in the late 80's and onward ... the user only had 3.5 minutes on a roll of film, they filmed more wisely than someone who knew they had a couple hours of tape in their camera ... ie baby crawling down hallway for 30 minutes ..555

Here is a AB comparison i did a while back.... the purist might say the left is just too clean, loosing some of its original film charm .. but most of our clients love it !!
