was owned by another kiwi-aussie who tastefully renovated it. had Xmas lunch there one year.
    bit overpriced though me thinks.

The asking price is fair although sale price might be under 4m. Would rent well at 20 to 25k p/m or more with pool. [min pool build cost ~500k]
    Cheers, Rob.

Plenty of homes on market now, many way over-priced as usual, heaps of vacant rentals too. On entrance road (land formerly used for driving instruction), they've built 7 very nice pool villa's, 3 by Chevalit and 4 by other family I'm told, but the asking price is in range 8m to 12m. South-facing on busy road and very hot!
    Cheers, Rob.

One thing about Thailand is I worry about build quality if it is a development.
I'd really have to do research of who is a legit builder.
So many places look nice but built like crap

Only way to be certain of build quality is buy new from likes of Land&House/Quality Homes or an affiliated company. Or, build yourself with a well-researched local builder. Our next project will be with the latter and I've watched them complete 4 houses now.

Render and tile finishes hide a multitude of sins and there's no real way of inspecting existing homes for quality. I supervised our build but had to fire most of the building co. trades and find my own. Next time will be a walk in the park.
    Cheers, Rob.
