    Cheapest Flight I've ever booked

I just booked a flight for Jan 2019 with ANA(I've flown before, great airline)

Vancouver to Bangkok( only downside 6hr connection in Tokyo)

Bangkok to Tokyo and staying in Japan for 6 days
    Tokyo to Vancouver

    632cad! 500usd!

    That is crazy

You've been to Japan before haven't you?

So this trip is booked... presumably you will definitely maybe go?

Who knows if I will go!

I already just changed it 5555
I didn't realize Japan is super cold

So I'd now have a 7hr layover at Haneda on way to Bangkok on a Friday night..........there is an area Kamata Ota with bars and restaurants near the airport

Then 2 days in Tokyo on way back...........which is fine with the cold

    600cad

But even if I cancelled it's 100cad penalty and I'd have the 500cad credit..............still worth it

What's wrong with super cold? You'll be inside most of the time...55

So no more 6 days? Just 7 hours on the way out? Sleep in a seat at the airport??

6-7hrs layover going from 6:30pm to 1am on a Friday night, as I said above there is an area very near to airport, Kamata Ota, I will be able to head to for bar/restaurant
Then 2 days on way back I will stay in Tokyo

The cold doesn't bother me.............but for 2 things
I don't want to have to pack too much for 2 climates
And it's the dead of winter here.........so would want mostly sun for a holiday at that time

I'm very happy for all that for only 600cad.......I never got a flight even close to that

I've never known you to book so far ahead.. 55

I am used to packing for two climates when going to NZ in the middle of winter via Thailand... I usually pack a jumper as well.. 55

But coming back to the UK... from Thailand in Dec or Jan... then waiting at Manchester airport for the shuttle bus to take me to my car parking place... and I am in shorts and t-shirt and it's below zero... those bastards lie about a bus every ten minutes... 55

Perth to Bangkok return last year $340 AUD on a Air asia flight.

Got a scoot flight last year China to Perth $105 AUD thought that was good value.

Funny thing is its cheaper for me to travel to Asia than domestic in my own country.

When I came to America and Canada a few years back I got Perth - Sydney - LA return for $1060 with my bike. And I got to go up top in the 380...55

The most I pay to LOS is around $750 with Thai air but its normally around $550 to $650.

But to go to Phills its lots more, the cheapest has been $750 but most the time $900 to $1300.

Hell I need to book well in advance to fly Vancouver to Boston to get around 400-450cad

    I just booked a flight to Phoenix....only 2:45hrs and it was 800cad
It is about 6 weeks ahead of time

We've been getting flights to bkk via mnl for as low as $590. And cheap during school holidays...their algorithm isn't that smart and isn't adjusting for school holidays when booking well in advance. Try bestjet...we have used them to get cheaper flights on PA.

Are Japanese, Chinese, Korean and other SE Asian groups the same ethnicity? Or are there distinct differences?

How far in advance to you book?

I booked this Jan flight and then got all excited, started looking at about 4 other flights 555

Dupree and I going to Mexico in June and started confusing him about planning a Dominican Republic trip for November 5555

I book some of my flights a week before even done the day before. I find prices cheap if you book well in advance or last minute.
