    Western marriage in Thailand

Some good friends of mine that are both Australian and would like to get married in Thailand. I introduced these guys and now they are asking me for advice.

Anyway, what would be a nice place for them to get hitched plus would a western couples marriage be recognised back in Australia if they get married in LOS?

The type of places they like are small beach resorts and only around 20 - 30 guests. They would also look at the idea of having it on a privately charted boat that would be to be able to sleep all the guest over a few days.

    Any ideas?

Why not inquire at Villa Nillanida?

Depending on how many guests they have
If they could rent the whole place out I would think would be superb

Yeah but I'd imagine open or open soon

And that may be an advantage
They may have not taken bookings so better chance they have the whole place

I'd even go far as to suggest that say if they had two rooms already booked
Speak to the hotel and see if they can offer to pay for those guests to go somewhere else with a bit of compensation

I just think that would be an ideal setting
And the food their is superb so I'd imagine they could provide great food for any wedding festivities

Linc is still doing it and yes marriage in Thailand is 100% legal in Australia if you do the paperwork at the local Amphur
