    US markets plunge

US stock markets plunged Thursday, as worries over global growth grew following a rout in Europe's markets driven by sovereign debt fears and more poor US data pointing to the economy stalling.

GFC mark 2 or put more correctly, GFC mark 1 that we all tried to pretend wasn't there when it was always the biggest Elephant found to be present in any room in all of history.

    I got 32.5THB/A$1.00 a few days back
    Today 30.8

Loved the way they reported that at the opening of the Sydney stock exchange this morning "They hung on at the start" but soon gave in and market down 4% same as US last night.
Sometimes I think we are delusional (Or at least having a Rabbit/Headlights moment) here in Australia.
    Gold/Oil down too

Right, I'm back to work as I now need the money even more than I did before.
And where the hell was Biggles.....?....when you needed him last Saturday....?

Because I think then it will be a proper correction.... otherwise I think we'll be waiting for another 10%++ drop in the coming months...

Most analysts seem to think the market was over-cooked by about 25%... so a way to go yet. I just wish it will hurry up as I have some pension funds moving into a new scheme soon.... and I was praying the market would correct before they were moved... as I have no control over when they join the new scheme. I only know it is August sometime...

Technically what the US had this week was a correction.
But have you ever seen a Dead Cat bounce before?

It is looking more and more like a life in the village up in Issan is going to be the surviver.

Simple life, simple needs and self sufficiency. Why reinvent the wheel?
