    Water is flowing into the Hi-Tech Industrical Estate in Ayutthaya's Bang Pa-in district through leaks on the 4-kilometre-long south floodwall facing the Chao Phraya river which cannot withstand the water pressure, reports said.

    Industry in the region is hit very hard. Major Corporations, Honda, Toyota, Isuzu, Canon, Nikon etc have all had factories inundated. Imagine the 'clean-up' cost and delay to re-starting manufacture.... all electrical equipment will have to be stripped, repaired or replaced.

    I wonder who will ultimately pay for this. Industry has a lot of sunk (pardon the pun) costs and Thailand has its development future at stake.
