Nah, don't believe the BS. More new cars yes, but also far more 2nd hand cars in yards/auction rooms. I know 1st hand that many thai's have embraced this hand-out in true Ozzie-1st-home-buyer style by putting new cars in sons, daughters and cousins names One of my relo's has had to re-mortgage the Vigo to get her son a Mazda3 and the 80k rebate.......... trouble is she's already spent the 80k elsewhere!

Biggest traffic problem is lack of driver training and courtesy. I've embraced this problem by trading our wee Honda for a FARKING BIG truck! 555

Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting: holy s.h.i.t what a ride!
