    Cambodia to Philippines

It seems there are no direct flights from Cambodia to PI. Not even from Bangkok. Youd have to fly down to Singapore and back up again. Anyone know a shorter route?

Doesn't seem like it now. I'm getting either Singapore or Macau depending on the airline.

Late Feb. Nothing set in stone yet, I had a rough plan but looks like it'll now be dictated by the flights, which I'm actually not minding at all.

I can get a flight from Perth to PP for just under $250AUD. PP for 3-4 days and then BKK, Costing about $70. A night or two in BKK and then Cebu now by the looks of it, about 50 bucks. Maybe drop anchor in Cebu for a day or two and then head to Angeles and see it for the first and probably last time just to say I've been. After that I'm not sure. Maybe Samui for a week. That flight seems to be around $400. And looks like there's an Emirates flight back home for about $550. The whole thing is going to set me back roughly $1500AUD in flights and none of them have delays longer than 2 hours. So not looking too bad.

Why dont you just fly to PI , Cambo then LOS, and then home?Does it work out more expensive?

Actually that's a better idea. The flight prices aren't an issue unless they get out of hand. Its $350 to Clark.

It'd make more sense to not backtrack 55.

Nah, you wouldn't get enough asses in seats on a direct flight. The only place you can fly directly to that's not a hub is Bali I think.

If you start in Cebu we flight Perth Hongkong Cebu with Cathey the stop over in HK is only 1hr 10.

As others have said Cebu Pacific and also Philippines air fly to bangers.

We had some friends just do a trip through Bali. Got cheap return Perth to Bali flights then added flights to PI. Not sure what airline. Air Asia flight Bali to Bangkok also. Could be worth a look lots of flights out of Bali.

Why are you doing that? That's an extra 5 hours of flight time, plus the delay in HK.

I'm finding PER > SIN > CEB with multiple airlines.

Looks like around $170 bucks from Bali to Clark. And it's about $150 to Bali. Doesn't make a difference money wise but it'd be good to stop over at lots of locations for a day or two at a time. If I did the Bali route I'd chill there for a couple of days and move on.

Some people think I'm nuts to just do a bunch of small stops on a holiday

I wouldn't do that in the US except if driving
But in Asia the airports are so easy that it doesn't bother me

And you get to see a bunch of different places
