I love it. Walked the Princengracht end to end one day. Took me around 3 hours with stops for pics and snacks.

Great pictures! Off to there on Sunday for 3 nights, probably won't leave the bulldog hotel / rld much though. On my last trip I visited the vrolik museum in the hospital/ university, was pretty interesting.

^ yeah, I'm a fan of the 'Dam as well...I have a very good friend with a nice home just off Vondel Park there...we used to do house swaps quite regularly with him or even better stay when he was home...his sister lived on a house boat which was amazing....we used to stay with her at least one night on every trip there as well...

it's a great/unique/human scaled/laid back city and also a handy central base to use to explore europe

My 1st time was with 2 friends when I was 25yrs old
We stayed by train station and parties in RLD

But I went back about 6 years ago on business
Stayed in the "normal" part in this Starwood hotel that was all these townhouses together
I went a couple days before and I loved it!
I loved that even the smallest shop would have a couple tables outside to sit

Pardon my ignorance, but what city in what European country are you talking about? I love the photos... so picturesque, clean and neat.

When I saw the title of the topic I was picturing something like this in Thailand

Thank you. I figured it had to be someplace like that. Not that many countries have those type canals in a busy city. I've never been there.

My favourite thing to do there is actually walk around the canals and take pictures. The city is perfect to be explored on foot and if you want to go a bit further the tram system works great.

But here are some ideas of other things to do:

    Ann Frank house
Dutch resistance museum - loved this. Like stepping back in time and seeing tonnes of WW2 relics.
    Van Gogh museum
    Heineken Brewery
    Canal boat tours
Eat - my 2nd most favourite thing to do there. Fresh waffles, pastries, donuts and cheese

I've never actually been to the banana bar. Seems like a waste of money tbh 75 euro to see a women put a banana up her minge. Could see that on youjizz now, save yourself some money and put that to better use 555

    Have fun.
