I'd be changing airlines in BKK domestic to domestic

I can check-in online and have no bags

I think I should be ok(if 1st flight not delayed)

Do I even have to leave the gate areas you think??

and just double check its the same airport....plenty have been caught out coming into SUV on BKK airways and going out of DM on Air Asia or one of the other domestic airlines without knowing....or vice versa...

KBV-BKK then BKK-Trat

I'm not going to freak out about it

I am really trying to catch the early flight to Trat on Bangkok Airways so I don't waste a whole day

But they have another flight 5 hours later

So if I missed the early one, hopefully I can get on late one

Or possibly next day

I may not book a hotel 1st night in Koh Chang
Just in case I miss my flight and the late one is sold out

Shouldn't have to flying domestic - domestic.
Yeah so if flight is on time, I think I should be able to make that next flight
I'd have about 20mins to get to gate assumption time to get off plane

I'm really not gonnna stress over it

I found out twice that online check-ins don't really mean much there.
I've used it a bunch and fine

Last trip on Air Asia twice
Never spoke to soul.....never went to a desk

Bangkok Airways says you can use Mobile Device and on their App they have a window for "Boarding Pass "

I'm really not going to worry about it

It will be great if I end up catching that early flight
If not so be it.....

The one great thing is I know it will be easy enough to get on next flight if not sold out

I know if I missed my flight here it would be a hassle

Novotel in airport has a day pass for 800 baht

Go over and chill in pool and get a massge

that's surprisingly cheap. Overnight typically ranges between say 4000 to 7000. I thought these types of arrangements were normally around half the full rate.
I believe that is to use the room for a period of time

The day pass is to just use the pool and facilities

Which would be perfect for me
And I may just bite the bullet and take the later flight and do that

Hate getting to Koh Chang at like 6:30pm but not the end of the world

I should be well relaxed 5555

Must say you seem pretty calm about it... 55
Haha

Meaning day off

I've calmed down immensely in the last 5 years

So if I tried to catch that earlier flight I just wouldn't be stressed one bit

Even on my flight to BKK, hoping it gets there on time
(I hate that feeling on a flight worrying about missing your next flight)

When I get there, I get there

Getting old has some advantages 5555

Going day pass at Novotel

A few hours in the pool/lunch

A few beers on ferry to Koh Chang

My hotel right in middle of things, so can be out by 8pm

A bit frustrating
Bangkok Airways has a flight from Krabi to BKK

But lands right when the BKK-Trat early flight takes off

You think they would have lined that up

I hate that feeling too.. I remember sitting on the tarmac in an Emirates A80 in Dubai for 4 hours... they couldn't get the Aircon to work.. so was hot... and I was thinking, I'm going to miss my connection to NZ in Bangkok! And I had allowed 5 hours! Luckily I made it by the skin of my teeth... though a night in Bangkok wouldn't have been bad I guess...

Worst feeling ever
Sitting on the plane taxiying looking at your watch

Then running through airport

I hate it

For my trip
Much better to have the chill day and get there later.....

I'm still curious if I would have made it 5555

Actually you mentioning running through the airport reminds me when I flew to NZ from Manchester via London, Dubai, Bangkok, Sydney, Auckland... and my flight from Manchester to London was delayed... I made it to Heathrow with 45 minutes to spare... and I thought, that's ok.. plenty of time.. now where's the gate? Oh... had to catch a train or something... anyway, the last half a mile I ran... sweating like a pig.. and security deliberately took their time going through my luggage... they knew I was in a hurry... guess it was a warning sign.. sweaty man in a hurry.. can't be up to anything good... 55

Made it to the gate... everyone on the plane... though I suspect a few from Manchester were going to miss it... as they closed the doors after I got on... sat in my seat... a pile of sweat... I had a shower in Dubai... 55

Got to NZ eventually... and my luggage arrived 3 days later...

Yeah Ao and I pretty much atmosphere got divorced in Toronto about 4 years ago 5555

Secure sucked connecting

And we had to run a long way
You can image how that went over for a TG

She was crying, I was yelling at her

Was a pretty silent flight from Toronto to Vancouver 5555

I didn't even think about taking a taxi from BKK

If I land at 10:40am

Get taxi at 11am, looks like I can get to Trat pier by 3pm

I've asked some places online
Seems to be 3k baht

Which would be similar price if I did the Novotel day pass and flight

And gets me to my hotel before dark
