101 Visa Entitlements

A mate of mine just got approval for the 101 visa for his partners two boys, there aged 10 & 15 and currently live in Udon Thani.


Both boys have limited English and my mate is unsure if the visa lets them get any english lessons ?, I told him to email the case officer and ask that question.


I know a few here have been through the process and could answer this question, the boys are due here mid august.

Call Wabbits, Im sure his daughter got lessons and went to a school in Hami hill that taught them the english.

They will go to an English language school, typically for up to 6 months, and then enter the mainstream system. I expect they will target getting them into the mainstream for the start of the new year.

My step son 15 went to Greenwood College Intensive English College. There is another one at Balga and two in the southern suburbs. There are two senior colleges for older kids, daughter is 19 next week and will remain until the e nd of 2019 (year 12) pm me for any other info. They both moved into main stream after 12 months.
