My wife was granted her Permanent Residency Visa this morning !

Nice one Gaz, congrats to both of you, certainly takes all the pressure off, and its such a goodin to get out of the way ... you can move on with your life with more certainty ....

A big congrats Gaz! The feeling of relief must be euphoric for both of you.

I'd take a week off to celebrate.
Maybe head down to Margaret River and visit a few wineries.

Thanks everyone ! A massive thank you to Minder & Wabbits for their help ! A lot of pressure off now that's for sure ! Visa granted 2 months after lodging the papers Rivo ! It's all getting shorter and shorter 5555

Dazza , that's 2 months after lodging the 2nd part of the Partner Visa ! Which is 2 years after lodging the original application ! However they do say its around a 6 month wait on the 2nd part 555.
Tane's boss (also Thai ) lodged hers 1 month before ours and still no word on hers ! She wasn't happy when Tane told her yesterday 555
