Do you guys think its a good idea to enter as U.S. citizen and use the 30 day free?

Do you guys think its a good idea to enter as U.S. citizen and use the 30 day free entry BEFORE leaving in & out the border to obtain your first 90 day tourist visa if you haven't gotten one in a long time. Or is it a better idea to get it beforehand? I feel like using that free 30 days is a bonus you can use before actually starting the "in & out" process of 2 or 3 tourist visa's whatever you might get away with.

Do you guys get what im saying? What do you think?

You can also get a 6 month TV from home.
Not sure what's available in Laos and Cambo theses days.
Might be a good idea to ask on somewhere like Thai Visa first. More up to date info there.

Ok I just was worried...using the free 30 days first before leaving to get my first 3 month TV that it would effect my ability to get them again and again.
