Do you not have Thai restaurants near you?

Really? I find it very light unless I have extra noodles.
I would definitely not call it light
It's a huge bowl of noodles

The broth can differ from place to place
The very poor place across the street from me had a very thick broth
I can only eat that occasionally

But even a light broth I find a heavy meal

I find asians meals generally not heavy including ramen and even the curries.
Next time say itadakimasu before you eat....might help 555.

I have found some Ramens to be a bit heavy. Especially the pork ones I have that often come with eggs too. And I always wash it down with black Asahi. You feel like a keg afterwards, but then get peckish again an hour or two later.
