I have both. They both work well but I prefer over ear. I bought the bose buds so I could travel lighter in the Himalayas.

Unfortunately the bose buds aren't good for running. They protrude more than my samsung buds and generate wind noise.

When you get it download the app, so you can control stuff on your phone.

I find noise cancelling can be annoying or even dangerous in certain situations like when walking around, in a car or on a motorbike. It effectively works by generating the opposite hertz and playing it in your ear. So if there's a bump or something, it's generating high decibels to try and cancel it.

I typically switch it off when moving around and only use it when in stable, stationary places like office, planes, etc.

I think it would dangerous to where NC outside, walking or running or driving. Be careful big guy...🤕

It doesn't work like that. It's not going to cancel out a car or a beep.

Plus mine has 3 modes, one of which is transparency, which acts a bit like a hearing aid by playing outside noises as well, so you can have the opposite. Without music is actually enhances your hearing.

Plus The HearID thing you see on there is great for people who might hear a bit better out of one ear. Most of us don't hear quite exactly the same out of both ears anyway. So this plays a number of subtle sounds, like in a hearing test and every time you hear it you press a button. It then adjust music levels according to your hearing so both ears are perfectly balanced.

About 60 bucks USD. I don't think there's a need to spend 300 bucks on high end ones. I'm more than happy with the quality and performance of this. Battery lasts over 5 hours(a solid 8 when it was new) and the charging case holds an additional 8 to 10.

My Buds won't connect to the app. The app doesn't see them...☹

It's10 yrs old. Using Android 12v. Android 6v is the minimum allowed.

Android is up to version 16. Regardless of what they say the minimum is, I highly doubt it's going to work if it's a couple of versions out of date. That's Google not allowing the older packages on the store due to security.

The only way around it is to manually install the latest APK for your App. Do you know any 10 year olds?

I have the Bose over the ear

But for ear buds I bought these and they work great
