Rather a dozen busy bars than 50 empty ones.
As for 7 and 8. they were close to dead before the pandemic. All it did was close the coffin lid.
Late 2019 I stayed at one of the hotels on 7-8 or thereabouts. On the beach side, and the bars down the end were all alive and pumping.

The bars on beach road should bounce back quick I think. Honey and LK areas will still be big too.

Last time I walked down 7 was also in 2019, admittedly i did not hang around long though. But the big bar complex in the middle over the road from Flipper House was empty. The bars at the beach end were better, but nothing like their heyday.

The beach bars should bounce back and by all accounts the ones around Honey and LK are still busy, well some of them.
A lady I know works on Honey and she is helping her boss recruit new staff via FB.
