Outrigger Hotel Lamai Beach

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Outrigger Lamai Beach or has any comments to make on the hotel.
Looking at being there at the end of April.
From what I have read, its about 15 min walk to the centre of Lamai

Looks bloody good, and decent rates off peak.

I've stayed in that area before. Yeah about that. 2 minutes on a scoot. Even if shit faced, it's still relatively safe to get on the bike just to get home, so I wouldn't worry about walking. You're just going over the bridge and across the road.

I've never stayed there but we stayed at Avani+ next to the Outrigger in Khao Lak and the Outriggger really stood out

I would go for it
