Was looking at hotels on soi 12 earlier and found a really nice one - 12th Avenue Hotel. Lovely rooftop pool and city view too.

5555 did you mention you were staying there before?

Actually when I saw it earlier I did think "I bet M26" would love this place. They've also confirmed they are gf too. Check.

It's a great place
They gave us an upgrade to a suite
A great 1brm suite

2 things
It's very quiet soi

The taxis out front won't do a meter

But they have a tuk.tuk leave every 30mins to Sukhumvit
And he'd probably shoot you down there for 20/40baht in between

How far is the hotel from Sukhumvit then?

According to google 8 mins from Asoke and Thermae. 😀

It's also right around the corner from Benjakiti Park. That place is nice at night, all the skyscrapers lit up.

Edit: just did a virtual walk on google maps and it really does look quiet. Maybe too quiet for me. 55

Soi 8 is pretty quiet too. Mix of residential, hotels and restaurants.

The staff is amazing at this hotel

And they really have gone all out by the pool
They have 3 huge cabana beds as well as 3 of those cushioned circle beds
We were on the circle bed today and was so comfortable

And with the tuk tuk shooting you down to Suk every 30mins it's not bad at all

Hell my wife just walked from Soi 23 back to hotel with no moaning!
