Yup, same group of actors who train during their performance. I hit you. You hit me. No different than the WWF and their group of steroid junkies.Moo Uaon;311747 said:Boxing use to be just about every night. Think it's Fridays they put curtains up and want 500 baht. Most of the "bouts " are pure BS though.
I was going to mention him when the phone rang and I had to sign off. I usually give him 20 baht after the fights when they come around to the bars to collect later.Moo Uaon;311777 said:I like the midget. Gets punched and kicked around. Gets groggy then comes back to win. ...every time 55

The only reason NOT to open the roof top is not having enough staff to run top and downstairs. Or, the weather is too crappy... which doesn't happen too often. I know that Aussie Day was always a big seller for Stew and Noi. One year it coincided with a closure of other bars further up Loi Kroh, And the DU almost ran out of beer twice until they got more in. Stew told me they made as much in one day as they usually did in a month. The place was packed all evening until past midnight.Rivo;311998 said:As a customer I think this is not the way to run a business, the rooftop was a success on friday nights and must cost buggerall to operate. You would think they would be advertising a function for new years eve, even if it was just a party, need to let people know weeks in advance if you want a reasonable turnout.
I remember that day. Lots of fun and the staff were tuckered out by closing time. I think they took a holiday the following day.Moo Uaon;312003 said:^ JJJ top 100 on Oz day. happened by accident the first time, people coming in and asking about it so he found the radio channel on the net and joined in the fun.
