Time to return to LOS

I stayed at the Pullman there in Dec '19, which is right in the thick of it. Group of the usual bars focused on westerners, along with a Thai Disco that gets going after midnight. A very cheap night out compared to Phuket and Bangkok.
Yes... I spent a few evenings in My Bar and a couple of others by Pullman when we were here previously.
As you say, a lot cheaper.

Sooo... the 2012 Mazda 2 we bought new needs to go in for a service.
I would normally do it myself in NZ but over here I take it to one of the local 'mechanics' and support the community.
Oil & filter, coolant change as that is probably due and get him to do front and rear pads while he has it.
All for about a 1/4 of the price you would pay in NZ.

I go pick it up late in the afternoon, give him a handful of cash and accept his offer of a glass of Lao Kao. It is really like a very yuk home brewed spirit with little flavour.
We chat and I politely decline a second.

Forgot to mention... we had a BBQ at Howard and Noi's one night.

We stopped at Makro on the way and I bought some steak. Vacuum packed fancy branded Thai beef. 690 for under a kilo.
Quite a letdown in flavour and texture.

Worth a try though, it looked good. Nicely marbled but nah.

Lol, looks like I forgot to finish this. Almost 18 months old.

Been back since then earlier this year and due to return in 10 days.
Sooo I might as well carry on here rather than start anew.

Short trip coming up this time which includes a trip north to see Howard and Noi again. This time we will meet in CM which reduces travel time by car to about 10hrs with comfort stops rather than 10.5hrs without stops to Mae Sai.
The plan is for 3 days in CM and an overnighter on the way home. There's a few things I saw on the last trip that I would like to stop at and 'have a jack' as we say here.

Thought about flying the girls down to BKK and us all onto CM. For the life of me I don't know why there aren't direct flights from KK, it seems everything has to go via BKK. Time wise it is a lot quicker but 27k baht for the 3 of us.. nah.

I'm going to spend two nights in BKK before heading to KK. There's something I need to get out of my system lol.

Are you talking about direct flights to CM? coz there is from Udon Thani with Nok Air.
Not KK though of course but not too far away.

Yes. Udon is 3hrs from home, say 1hr flying each way and 3hr return drive. Say add another 2hrs for comfort stops... sort of makes sense time wise considering driving to CM would be around 20+hrs return.

Cheers for that 👍

Delayed updates. Been busy as.

This time I'm struggling with the time difference with LOS being 6hrs behind NZ.
The trip over on SIA was shit. Not the service or the aircraft, they were the usual high standard. The guy across from me was the loudest snoring I have ever encountered.
3hrs in I asked to move to an empty seat 4 rows back which overcame that issue. Unfortunately, the woman in the seat behind kept opening and closing the little storage compartment in the back of my seat.
Even though we had big comfy lie flat seats I reckon 2hrs was the most I managed.

The FA who was taking care of our side originally was.. lo and behold, Pachara. The same FA from my return trip earlier this year. That was a bonus. This time I got to see her without the face mask, she is truly beautiful. Eyes that only a Thai woman has, some of you may know what I'm talkin about.
We had a catch up, she asked how the family is and how is our daughter. I was very surprised she remembered, amazing.
I asked how things were going for her, part time relationship with a nice Thai chap is still on. Marriage? I asked. They're talking about it 👍

She continued to come see if I was comfort and was there anything she could do just let her know.
My imagination running rampant with visions of her sitting on my face. Oh yeah.
Plenty of bubbles delivered but that didn't help much. She has a nice bum to admire as well 😍

Transit in Changi was a breeze. Terminal 3 arrival, 2 on departure.

Didn't bother with the SIA lounge, packed to the gunnels.
Went over to Terminal 2 and had a beer and Brisket Pho. Both were good, NZ$30.. woo.

Trip to BKK sweet as. Arrival at 11:30am after doing circles in the sky for some reason.
Through Immigration etc in 10 minutes. Holy shit.
Downstairs to the Airport Link and at Solitaire in under 2hrs has to be a world record.

Guess what, dumbass fucked up his reservation 55. I'm a day early 😌.
It's OK, they have 1 room available, phew.
1st night in 218, small, no window, who cares.
Catch up on some sleep and look forward to my 5pm appointment at....

My sweetheart Yim(who I want my stepson to marry) is a Thai Airways hostess

I don't want you dudes(and me before) perving on them. 😀

11:30am is a great landing time

Our flights always seem to get in at 9-10pm

But in a way I love that.
We are under the gun to get SSS and get out

Our departure was 1:20am. I prefer this as I usually sleep well on the way over. Not this time though.
I'm one of those people who once awake find it extremely difficult to get back to sleep.
Midday arrival allows a decent nap and as you say, SSS and enjoy a full evening.

Had a massage on 8, was really good. She did some work on my lumbar which relieved a lot of tension.

Went for a ride on the BTS and jumped off at Thonglor. Walked around a bit and saw a sign up an alley.. Pretty. Pretty what my brain says so I go have a look. Pretty dodgy looking really from the outside. All the windows blacked out. Pull the sliding door open, ah now I know. Pretty ladies lol.
Welkaaaarm. 3 youngish lasses jump up to greet me. Oh well, now that I'm here.
Spent a 2hr session with a lovely young lass called Donut. Slim, A cup and a bit cheeky with it. We had some good banter going on which made things flow easily. Average massage compared to the previous one but that's not their focus.
Probably the best deepthroat I've had ever. 3200 + a generous tip.

Wandered back to Suk Rd. Bought an average grade coffee somewhere and rode the BTS back to Nana.

I thought fuck it. Might as well wander down Soi 4. Morning Night, Stumble Inn and Big Dogs full and noisy as usual. Plenty of singlet wearers inside.
Stop outside Kickoff and was immediately spotted by Goi who has worked on this patch for close to 10 years.
Had a couple of beers with her. She had finished at 6pm but was drinking and talking with another chap. He looked a bit pissed that I was getting all her attention.
She suggested we go see her brother who manages a bar on 6.
We got a bit Mao there playing pool and having a few laughs. I know the brother from way back. He's a cool guy. He flicked me a 2 for 1 deal on the side lol.

Goi said she was going home but by this time she wasn't really that steady. The brother phoned his taxi mate and we went back to mine.
I woke her up at 8.30 knowing she had work at 10.
Shouted her a coffee and croissant for breakfast and off she went.
I said I would catch up later but shit got in the way.

Goi has asked me to barfine her in the past. She's fun and exuberant but not really my style. Some relationships are better not being complicated with sex.

Jumped back on the BTS down to the Navy Museum. Hmm yep. Some interesting stuff. Back on the BTS, stopped at Thonglor so I thought fuck it, see if Donut is there again.
Spent some more money.
I would recommend this young woman if anyone is interested. She does outcalls as well.

Back to 11. There used to be a few bars and open air restaurants along the same side as the German Beerhaus but they've been demolished and looks like a couple more hotels going up.

Walking along thinking about beer and a FL looks my way and smiles. I decide to use my basic Viet skills as she doesn't look like a typical Thai freelancer. chào tên bạn là gì. Ut she replies looking quite surprised and tries to engage me in Vietnamese to which I replied sorry only little Viet.
I picked her as being Viet, they dress differently to the Thai and Cambo FLs. A bit more up market.
I ask if she wants to come for a drink at the wine place. We go your room?
Nah, I busy soon. I don't want to spoil the day.

So that was it. My last foray into prostitution. Time to be a good husband and father again.

Shit, that was a bit long winded.

Thought about taking the train to Khon Kaen as I had done in the past. Unfortunately the only one running was 20:30 departure and stupid o'clock in the morning arrival so Thai Samile it was.

The girls waiting for me.
We headed to Makro for some essentials then off to Chumphae for some Tom Yum Goong and whatever else Au fancied which is usually enough to feed a family of 10 lol.
Stacked up a pile of take-outs for the family.

The first thing I comment to Au on was the noise the front end was making. Rattling away like it was going to fall out.
Who's been driving this car?
This really shits me as I spent 25k on it last November. Got ripped by the thieving fucks at Wattana Mazda in Chumphae. The fuck heads did stuff I didn't ask for and didn't do some of the stuff I did ask for.
That was the day Au grabbed me by the wrist and marched me outside while I was using the F word more than I have ever done before.
They weren't going to let us have the car until we paid in full. No negotiation or recognition that they had failed to satisfy the customers requested work.
Unbeknown to them, I had the key and remote as I left the spare with them.
I grabbed Au, we jumped in the car and fucked off.

I digress.
Ended up back at the mother in law's and had a jolly big feed.

We were only there a couple of days then drove up to Chiang Mai to catch up with Howard and Noi who came down from Mae Sai.

My plan originally was to fly KKC to CNX but you couldn't fly direct, only via BKK @ 16k. Fuck that.

Moo suggested flying from Udon direct which was a good idea but, there were a couple of places I wanted to revisit from our last trip north so we ended up driving.
Google Maps said the trip was 577km at 8.45hrs. Add another hour for rest stops, food etc might as well say 10hrs.

Sooo... plan laid down with the Mrs. We leave at 6:00am ok mai?
Bags packed, car loaded, check oil, tyre pressure etc.
Well the next morning was like trying to herd cats. Oh we need to do this, oh, I have to go market for mum....

7:40 we finally got away lol. You gotta be patient.

There's a family in the hills on the way over to Petchabun that have a hydro garden setup that I wanted to drop in on again. Did that. Then further on there's a river runs for a little distance beside the road on Highway 12 and there's some rapids and pools. Me and Phaeya jumped in for a swim. The locals thought we were nuts. To cold they said, I thought it was quite temperate.

With an OCD wife and an even more OCD mother-in-law there is never lateness

I have to meet my MIL at 10am today at my hotel
I suspect that she's been parked outside the hotel since 7am. 5555
