Not using Agent but getting advice from a friend who has access to a Visa Agent, Fionn on FB and he said they had to claim abuse to get it waived

Just really getting going on all this now, NOIM and financial records, even a Federal Police check if child under 15 yo

Just going to make sure from Immi that the forms are not going to be changed again before application time

Lovin' the new Avatar Cilla, the deal with parental support for child visa travel usually hinges on $$$$ payable to oil the wheels. Could be wrong, but I don't think so....

Agree totally C1, that type of oil works no matter what the problem, 555 but in these types of cases not always that easy.

Our situation is not requiring that type of oil as A's daughter's Father's family is well off, have a large construction company up near Udon, that's all I know. I have been assured that the Father will sign the necessary paperwork and the right stamps and ID from the Ampour office with a promise of continuing future contact with that side of the family, also this has the blessing of Yah so fingers crossed.
A is going to get her daughter, who has been with her Fathers family for a while now, after Songkran so she can spend that time with them. This is a very different family relationship than I expected and A encourages it and it is not for me to question this.

This is just a question of timing for us and putting all the pieces together. When all of this is put in I will put a detailed report of the process and paperwork required etc on the visa section. You know I have to pay my dues for all the help others gave me and hope it will help the next one. TD by law remember, 555

With the tourist visa I have been told by a friend it helps if she has money in her bank account. This will look good as she will have money to support herself in Aust and a flight home if things go belly up with her sponsor.

My GF puts her papers in at BBK in a few days hopefully approved ready for my flight home on the 25th April

I don't think we included it on the last TV...in terms of support I think it is all about the sponsor's finances.

I think the relevance of the TG's bank balance is a reason to return and not overstay. Probably wasn't chased as we have travelled to many countries together as well as complied with previous visa obligations.

Every Tourist Visa I have done for my TG and my mates TG, so 5 in total, we have not once shown or been asked for our girls bank book or how much money she has in the bank.

We haven't been asked either it was a suggestion from a friend.

Rivo what are the restrictions on how many times you can do a Tourist visa with the same TG ??

So if we return a few days before the visa expires can we do a new visa in bkk stay a few weeks in LOS and return back to Perth.

Or can we apply in Perth for a extension.

Just heard of a tourist visa fail.
Had only known each other for 3 months so I guess evidence lacked.
He provided nearly all documents I had done on my successful applications.

Purely a time factor, and I agree!

Never been asked about TG's bank account either ! Ozzy, if your TG's visa has no further stay stamped on it (which you guarantee it will ) , you cannot get it extended here in Australia ! She MUST return to Thailand , and reapply from there .

Our plan if things go well was to return to Thailand just before her visa expires and redo a new one.

Will they allow this? Or is there a better option.

I'm not sure as to how soon after returning you can reapply ! I'm sure someone on here will know however .

If I understand the view of OZ Immi they don't see multiple Tourist Visas as an alternative to a long-stay visa.

Being reciprocated by the Thais for Oz applicants for visas recently.
